Alison merges her two passions of the entertainment and publishing industries in her long-form “Showrunner Notes” video series where she proposes her very real ideas for popular books to be adapted to film and TV while in semi-character as “Alison Haselden, your favorite showrunner.”

A lover of storytelling since before she could speak, she counts herself very lucky to be living a childhood dream as a proud multi-hyphenate writer, actor, and director. Alison holds a B.S. from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and was recently awarded a grant from the City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs for her writing.

She primarily writes fantasy and contemporary romance novels, many plotted with screenplay crossover in mind. She recently finished her new adult fantasy novel about mariner witches in Nantucket Island and is currently looking for agent representation.

Next in the queue is finishing an international rom-com called Catch Flights, Not Feelings and starting draft two on an adult fantasy novel about a world where the moons grant magical abilities.
